What SomaVita is

SomaVita helps you keep a maintenance schedule for your body: dental cleanings, bloodwork, haircuts, replacing everyday items. This policy explains what information the app and this website use and where it lives.

Information you give us

Account: your email address, your password, and an optional display name. We never see your password. It is handled by our login provider, Supabase.

Your schedule: the items you choose to track, how often they repeat, notes you add, and the dates you log them as done.

For your body plan: your year of birth, your sex at birth and your country, so SomaVita can suggest the checkups, vaccines and screenings official health guidelines recommend for you. These are saved with your schedule, and you can change them any time in Settings. If you choose to, you can also answer a few optional questions (whether you wear contact lenses, work at a screen most of the day, how active you are, whether you smoke, and whether you're pregnant or planning to be). These only decide which suggestions you see, are stored the same way, are never used for anything else or shared, and you can clear any of them in Settings.

Where your data is stored

Your schedule and history are saved to your account, so they stay with you. Sign in on another phone and everything is there.

Your account details and your schedule are stored by Supabase, our login and database provider, in a secure database.

The body plan's guidelines are downloaded from somavita.app. Nothing about you is sent with that download.

This website and the waiting list

somavita.app uses no cookies and no ads. To see how many people visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies, without identifying you, and without following you to other sites. If you join the waiting list, we store your email address so we can send you launch updates, starting one week before launch, and nothing else. If you also give us your Instagram handle (optional), we store it so we can send you one direct message on Instagram when SomaVita launches, and nothing else. To be removed, email us and we'll delete them.

Voice assistant

The microphone is only used after you tap the microphone button. Your iPhone turns what you say into text (on the phone itself where your iPhone supports it; otherwise Apple's speech service may process it, under Apple's privacy policy). We never record or keep your voice. To understand what you said or typed, SomaVita sends that text, with your list of items and their dates, to Claude, an AI service made by Anthropic, which answers with a reply and the changes to make. This only happens after you agree to it in the app. Anthropic doesn't use it to train its AI. SomaVita doesn't keep what you said: we only count how many times you use the assistant each day, so usage stays fair. Replies are read aloud in SomaVita's natural voice, made by ElevenLabs: our server sends ElevenLabs only the reply's words, never your name, email, voice or list, and gets back the audio. Without an internet connection, once the month's natural voice allowance is used up, or if you pick one of your iPhone's own voices in Settings, replies are read by your iPhone instead, on the phone. You can turn spoken replies off at any time.

Services we use

These companies help run SomaVita. Each only gets what it needs for its job.

  • Supabase stores your account and your schedule, and runs the voice assistant's server.
  • Anthropic (Claude) understands what you say to the voice assistant: it receives that text and your list, only when you use it.
  • ElevenLabs reads the assistant's replies out loud in SomaVita's natural voice: it receives only the reply text, never your name, email or list.
  • RevenueCat keeps track of who has a SomaVita subscription or free trial: it receives a random account ID and your purchase details from Apple.
  • Apple handles payments, notifications, Siri, and turning your voice into text.
  • Resend sends our account emails (codes and password notices) to your email address.
  • Cloudflare hosts somavita.app and counts website visits without cookies.

Emails we send

From the app, we only email you for account reasons: a code to verify your address when you sign up, a code if you ask to reset your password, and a short notice if your password is changed. These are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. We don't send marketing email from the app.

What we don't do

We don't show ads, we don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers. We only share what's needed with the services named in this policy, so they can run SomaVita for you. The only analytics is the anonymous visit count on this website described above. The app itself has none.

Payments

SomaVita is a paid subscription with a 7-day free trial. Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive or store your card details. To know who has a subscription or trial, we use RevenueCat, a subscription service: it receives a random account ID and your purchase details from Apple, never your name, email or schedule.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your account and your schedule from our systems and clears your data from the device.

Children

SomaVita is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app.
